While I don't think this is the best review, especially as they only played 20 hours, but I feel like reviewers are just appealing to the masses with all the 9s and 10s and not giving honest reviews. The game is great, an amazing value for what you get, and has great production value. But...

If you got this game for the main campaign, there are some serious issues, which while minor in act 1 become terribly noticeable by act 2(which is why I feel like most didn't a...

@St8Chaos74
I play mostly on PC and I can honestly say this is absolutely correct. From dealing with typical PC issues to dealing with issues on steam, PC is nowhere near as user-friendly as consoles and it's one of the main reasons console gaming exists. A simple example: How many steps does it take to turn on, login and start a game on PC? It's all easy stuff only taking a few seconds each, but at the end of the day, as gamers we can be incredibly lazy lol. Then you have th...

I see what you did there...

Is it hiding the fact that it has mediocre gameplay behind a veil of psychosis?

Just a heads up for those interested in the patapon remaster, it's got some problems with de syncing and input lag. Hopefully they can fix this shortly and while it may not be a problem for some, I've experienced it first hand and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. Trying to play a rhythm game like this is infuriating.

My biggest concern with the system isn't the lack of third party support, or price gouging accessories, or fears of the gimmicks Nintendo constantly pushes, or the lack of backwards compatibility, or the switch to paid online services, or the limited power of the system. My fear is that with the multitude of issues there seems to be something for everyone to lock onto. Unlike the Xbox one launch where there was one big issue, with this launch everyone seems to be latching onto something, ...

I have two theories on the last of us. Either the fireflies track her and Joel and Ellie down and murder everyone at Joel's brother's base igniting her rage and setting her off on a bloody revenge adventure. Or Joel has died and he'll be in her head the entire time which you'll find out at the end so when offered the same choice as Joel at the end of LOU1, she'll see the death and destruction she has wrought believing Joel's lie ultimately sacrificing herself.

The biggest problem facing these companies are the companies themselves I feel. HTC (a company most known for phones) sided with steam in hopes of luring of gamers to their side but unfortunately the high price tag and the companies desire not to have exclusives kept adoption rates quite low.

With Oculus, the company assumed that because of the massive backing on kickstarter that they'd be able to grow just by word of mouth. The issue is their terrible PR and constant ...

My god, this is the dullest conference I've ever watched in my life... I think Nintendo is just trolling us at this point. You want to see NX, well we told you it won't be there... now you're gonna watch us level up your new starter pokemon to level 8... Andy Kaufman would be proud...

I think by not saying Rift, they make everyone percieve it as exclusive, but as I've seen elsewhere, even if it is exclusive someone will surely mod it for compatibility. I mean, it is one of the most modded franchises ever next to elder scrolls.

That being said, I wonder if they'll mod it into the skyrim remastered that was announced. That would be even better (which I could see them doing but with their push for dlc in fallout 4 I'm sure it's just a market...

They do this to keep the cost of the game at full price for as long as they can. SO for the entirety of this year, the game won't drop in price as it'll be "unfinished" as far as content goes until the last pack comes out, at which point they won't care if it drops in price as they'll have moved on to developing something else. Considering the game was supposed to be finished soon, they're essentially taking what was a full experience and chopping it up, which sh...

I don't know why they have to include the xbox controller as well though considering I already have one... not to mention if you want their controllers, then you'll have to pay even more.

Yeah... ummm... it's 849.99 Canadian before taxes and shipping... ummm... I had about $700 set aside for this but I may have to pass if it's going to run me more than $1000Cad for everything.

I'm sorry but are you serious? With all that companies have been doing to nickle and dime everyone, especially activision who has done this numerous times, you're seriously going to write an article saying we should drop the single player campaign when in the first time in a while it's fairly decent?

Yeah, why can't we have more games like vanilla destiny or Star Wars battlefront 3? That's what we all really want!/s

Articles like this are...

I'm going to sound like a fanboy for saying this, and I'm sure I'll get flamed for it, but Sony's was better. It came at the perfect time, when people were up in arms over all the controversy from the xbone reveal, and Sony's played out like a well timed joke. I you watch theirs, it has a setup, build, and punchline.

MS' just seems more corporate. It's a couple of hip kids trying to imitate the same joke but failing miserably. I understand they...

It's forbes. Their reviewer has no idea what he's talking about and usually writes clickbait articles or writes things which are clearly sponsored or paid for in some way... gaming journalism at it's finest there.

I buy it from time to time and have never purchased one. I got advanced warfare on the cheap, got it for like 6 bucks, and went to play exo zombies only to find it was behind a paywall.

You gotta wonder though, if it was delayed to work out the kinks and stuff what would it have been like? I'm glad Ubisofts blunders and lowered sales for their past several games has shown that people won't take it anymore. People are just waiting for the next unity to blow it up and tear it down, hopefully the big publishers looking to push and peddle are aware now.
